Het BIA Lijmpistool is zeer geschikt voor het verwerken van Illbruck steen- en houtlijm PU700 880ml. Dat komt doordat het pistool handzaam is, er eenvoudig mee gewerkt kan worden en het toepasbaar is onder vele omstandigheden. Strakke en maatvaste betonstenen en betonblokken zijn uitermate geschikt om te worden verlijmd. Omdat de lijmvoeg veel sterker is dan de mortelvoeg is het lijmen in tegelverband mogelijk en kunnen ook lateien in gelijmde vorm een uitkomst bieden. PU700 Steen- en Houtlijm is geschikt voor zowel binnen als buiten en wordt ingezet voor houten vloer- en muurpanelen, zware steen- en houtconstructies en houten kozijnen/schrijnwerk.

Het werken met het BIA Lijmpistool

Voor het gebruik van het lijmpistool pak je de Illbruck steen- en houtlijm en bevestigt deze in het pistool. Daarna kun je de lijm eenzijdig aanbrengen. Bij stenen producten moet je de lijm op 90% van de te verlijmen materialen aanbrengen. Bij houtproducten heb je maximaal 8 minuten om de verbinding te laten plaatsvinden tussen de lijm en het materiaal dat je gebruikt (huidvorming tussen de 10 - 15 minuten). Let er op dat je het pistool of de spray nozzle apart moet bestellen. Deze zijn niet standaard inbegrepen bij de lijm.

Lijmmortels zijn een alternatief

Naast de Illbruck steen- en houtlijm (met lijmpistool) bieden wij ook lijmmortels aan. Lijmmortels zijn geschikt voor specifieke doeleinden en gemakkelijk in gebruik. Houd er alleen rekening mee dat de lijmmortels in zakken worden geleverd, waardoor deze lijmsoorten veel zwaarder zijn dan de Illbruck lijm. Voorbeelden van lijmmortels zijn de betonblokkenlijm en Duo lijm voor kalkzandsteen- en cellenbetonblokken.

I've immediately ordered another of one of those so they both have one, but I've just money wasted on this one. It's probably better they don't like it, I'd be worried about them breaking their teeth. I know it's supposed to be for power chewers, but it has no give whatsoever, just extremely hard, shiny plastic. It's useless, unless you're planning on filing it into a point and making a prison shank. Maybe you can leave it in front of the fridge for your SO to step on in the middle of the night when he goes to steal your almond milk. I'll figure out some way to use it. I did dip it into my boyfriend's peanut butter jar to let my puppy lick it, but I can do that with a spoon. I wanted her to feel like she got something, maybe my other dog will let her have a turn with the fun toy after awhile. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars. You can dip it in peanut butter and I was being generous.
