Houtsoort
Redwood is een nieuwe geïmpregneerde naaldhoutsoort in ons assortiment. Het hout lijkt op het geliefde Douglas hout, alleen heeft dit hout net andere eigenschappen. Het hout wordt eerst kunstmatig gedroogd voordat het wordt behandeld. Hierdoor is het hout veel stabieler en maatvaster tijdens het verwerken en het gebruik. Na het drogen krijgt het hout een speciale ecologische behandeling, hierdoor is het hout extra duurzaam en krijgt het de kleur van douglas hout. Door deze behandeling is het hout kleurvaster dan douglas hout. Redwood heeft een levensduur van minimaal 15 jaar, mits het boven de grond gebruikt wordt.
