De Trots van Chili de Camenere druif, deze trots is te proeven want wat is deze Escudo Rojo toch verfijnd en zijde zacht. Voor deze wijn is er een speciale wijngaard geselecteerd in Valle del Rapel, hier zijn de omstandigheden ideaal voor de Carmenere druif. De Valle del Rapel ligt in het hart van Chili, 200 km ten zuiden van de hoofdstad Santiago de Chile. Het varieert van de voet van de Andes tot de kust van de Stille Oceaan, waardoor dit wijngebied zeer divers is in termen van klimaat en bodemgesteldheid. Juist om deze reden hebben de "wijnmakers" van Baron Philippe de Rothschild Maipo Chile de Valle del Rapel gekozen voor de teelt van sommige druivensoorten. Het gedeeltelijk mediterrane klimaat is onder andere ideaal voor het ontstaan van volledig rijpe Carmenere-druiven.De oude Carmenere wijngaard van Escudo Rojo
De bodems dragen ook bij aan deze volle Chileense rode wijn. De diepe leemachtige bodems van de Valle del Rapel zorgen voor geconcentreerde en krachtige Carmenere druiven. Hij krijgt zijn elegantie en mineraliteit door kiezelhoudende bodemtexturen. Hoewel de druiven voor de Escudo Rojo Carmenere exclusief met de hand worden geplukt in de Valle del Rapel, worden ze voor verdere verwerking naar de Bodega Baron Philippe de Rothschild Maipo Chili in de Maipo Vallei gebracht. Na vinificatie rijpt de nog jonge wijn daar gedurende ten minste zes to acht maanden in eiken vaten voor rijping. Dat geeft hem zijn volle en zachte karakter.De geur en smaak van de Escudo Rojo Carmenere
Wat is het toch een feest deze Chileense rode wijn. Met in de geur een prachtig boeket van de Carmenere druif. Wij noteerden indrukken van zwart fruit en een dosis cacao, zoete kruiden, vanille en toffee. Laat je de wijn goed walsen in je glas dan geeft hij nog meer geuren van onder andere pruimen en cassis fruit. De smaak is fluweel zacht, net een warm bed! Mooie zijde zachte smaken van kersen, bessen en bramen en uiteraard koffie, mokka en kruiden. Easy Cabin Filter Swap For Cleaner Air

I picked up this Puroma cabin air filter to replace the old one in my Honda and it has worked out very well. It fit the housing just like the original, slid in without any forcing, and the whole swap took only a few minutes. The construction feels solid for the price and the edges seal properly so air is not just bypassing the filter.
After installing it, the air from the vents smelled noticeably fresher, especially when using recirculate. The activated carbon layer seems to help cut down on that stale or slightly musty smell that builds up over time. For something that is easy to forget about, changing this filter makes a real difference in everyday driving comfort.
