Deze hoge Carhartt werkschoenen zijn gemaakt van stevig nubuckleer dat waterafstotend is behandeld. Dit materiaal is slijtvast en blijft soepel, ook bij langdurig gebruik in vochtige werkomgevingen. De schoenen zijn voorzien van een glasvezel veiligheidsneus en een flexibele textiele antipenetratiezool, waardoor je voeten goed beschermd blijven tegen vallende of scherpe voorwerpen.

De Vibram HP-loopzool zorgt voor uitstekende grip en slijtvastheid op verschillende ondergronden. Dankzij de SR-normering ben je verzekerd van voldoende antislip, en de zool is bestand tegen olie en brandstof (FO). De HRO-normering betekent dat de zool hittebestendig is tot 300°C, terwijl de HI-normering isolatie biedt bij warmte, bijvoorbeeld op asfalt of metaalvloeren. De PU-tussenzool en het uitneembare voetbed met energieabsorberende hiel zorgen voor demping, stabiliteit en langdurig comfort.

Door de Rugged Flex technologie beweegt de schoen natuurlijk met de voet mee, wat vooral prettig is bij werkzaamheden waarbij je vaak knielt, draait of bukt. De ritssluiting aan de binnenzijde maakt het aan- en uittrekken snel en eenvoudig, zonder in te leveren op stevigheid. De binnenvoering van ademend gaas reguleert temperatuur en voorkomt transpiratie.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest. It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.
