Veel andere vitamine B12-suppletie bevat cyanocobalamine een synthetische niet natuurlijke vorm die het lichaam eerst moet omzetten voordat het effect heeft. Het voordeel van een supplement met bioactieve bestanddelen is dat het lichaam de werkzame stoffen direct kan opnemen waardoor het sneller effect heeft. Bovendien zijn aan Golden Naturals Vitamine B12 6000 mcg ook vitamine B6 en foliumzuur (folaat) toegevoegd wat het tot een zeer compleet product maakt.
