Handelaren, ambtenaren, voedsel en goederen moeten van de ene naar de andere plaats vervoerd worden. Er is inmiddels een ingewikkeld netwerk van treinverbindingen ontstaan.Thaddeus Reeves was een van de jonge ondernemers die ervan droomde om de hele natie met elkaar te verbinden en slaagde daar uitzonderlijk goed in. Reeves Rails bouwde snel lucratieve treinroutes van de Atlantische kust naar de Mississippi en de toekomst van het bedrijf ziet er dan ook rooskleurig uit. Maar hebzuchtige spoorwegmagnaten loeren op een kans om het groeiende spoorwegimperium van Thaddeus over te nemen.
Naarmate de jaren verstreken is Reeves Rails blijven groeien en heeft zich flink ontwikkeld. Met jouw nieuwe spoorwegmaatschappij kun jij nu ook een rol gaan spelen in deze belangrijke industrie. De potentie en rijkdom spatten werkelijk af van jouw nieuwe stoommachines en deze nieuwe spoorwegrijtuigen zouden het verschil moeten maken.

Ticket to Ride Legacy: Legendes uit het Westen geeft jou de kans om aan boord te stappen van jouw favoriete treinspel en de verbeelding van Rob Daviau, Matt Leacock en Alan R. Moon te beleven. Je maakt een reis van twaalf spellen, waarin je jouw Noord-Amerikaanse spoorwegmaatschappij naar rijkdom en fortuin leidt via een campagne vol avonturen.
Het behalen van jouw bestemmingskaarten blijft jouw belangrijkste doel, maar je zult ook andere vaardigheden moeten ontwikkelen als je onverwachte gebeurtenissen en vindingrijke vijanden wilt overwinnen. Spel na spel, route na route, vul je jouw kluis met jouw inkomsten. Naarmate het spel vordert, open je regioboxen die nieuwe regels, inhoud en nog veel meer verrassingen bieden.
Net zoals bij andere Ticket to Ride spellen is dit spel makkelijk te leren en biedt het een meeslepende ervaring met een uitgebreide verhaallijn die elke fan van de spellenserie zal waarderen. En na 12 Legacy spellen gespeeld te hebben, houd je een uniek spel over dat je kunt blijven spelen!

Beautifully put together book

I love this book. Pages are thick and not too flimsy. Pictures are beautiful and well arranged on the pages. If you love the game and the characters, you'll love this book. I've learned a lot reading it. I highly recommend. Dark Horse knocked it out of the park with this one.

If you love these characters and the lore, you'll love this book!

I've bought every book connected to FFXV that I could find hoping for one that had a lot of focus on the story and characters and they've all been pretty disappointing. This one is exactly what I've always wanted. There are multiple character biographies all through the book, every in-game chapter has a chapter in the book detailing what happened in it with screenshots, lots of pages of concept are that includes art of the characters and not just the monsters like other FFXV books, soundtrack listings, pages about all the DLC, appendices that discuss the gods and a timeline. There are extensive interviews with the staff in the back. There is also a large section on Comrades that talks about upgrading weapons and obtaining sigils if you're wanting that. If you only get one book about FFXV, get this one. This book is a hardcover.

A Lovely Art Book for those Who Love Pixel Art from RPGs

Growing up playing NES & SNES games, I love pixel/sprite art. Featuring pixel art from Final Fantasy to Final Fantasy VI, this book has various types of pixel art including sprite sheets of different poses & walk cycles, backgrounds, monsters, and pixels of characters if they were done in 2018. There’s even pixel art from Final Fantasy VII to Final Fantasy XV.
My ONLY complaint is that even though the book I got came in plastic wrap, somehow a couple of pages have creases. But since the creases are light, I’m gonna let that slide.
All in all, this is a must have for those who love the Final Fantasy games from the NES and/or SNES era or those who love pixel art in general.
