Door een jarenlange samenwerking ontwikkelde dit kwintet haar eigen geluid met focus op klankkleur, groove en ritmiek. Tim Vandenbergh schreef compleet nieuwe arrangementen voor het oeuvre van Roosbeef. De nummers die hij koos, leenden zich het best voor strijkers.

Roos Rebergen is bekend van de band Roosbeef. Ze bracht met deze band vijf succesvolle studioalbums uit en treedt al meer dan tien jaar op in België en Nederland. Daarnaast werkte ze samen met Torre Florim van De Staat als De Speeldoos, en schreef ze de dichtbundel Ik ben al elf jaar geen zestien meer.
