De Ficus Elastica Abidjan stam – 130 cm is een krachtige, stijlvolle groenplant met dieprode tot donker­groene bladeren en een stevige, sierlijke stam. De Ficus Elastica Abidjan behoort tot de moerbeifamilie en komt oorspronkelijk uit Zuidoost-Azië. Door zijn dikke, glanzende bladeren geeft hij ieder interieur een luxe uitstraling. Deze variant op stam zorgt bovendien voor extra hoogte, elegantie en een rustige verticale lijn in je interieur.

De Ficus is van nature een sterke plant die weinig eisen stelt, mits hij op de juiste plek staat. Dankzij zijn stevige bladeren kan hij goed vocht vasthouden, waardoor hij relatief weinig water nodig heeft. Tegelijkertijd staat hij bekend als een uitstekende luchtzuiveraar: hij filtert schadelijke stoffen en verbetert de luchtkwaliteit in huis.

Verzorging

  • Licht: Helder, indirect licht. Verdraagt wat schaduw, maar vermijd felle zon.
  • Water: Matig water geven; de bovenlaag van de grond licht laten opdrogen.
  • Standplaats: Geen tocht of koude luchtstromen.
  • Luchtzuivering: Zeer goed in het zuiveren van de lucht.

I brought this book and told them a few things covered in the book... like where the manger was. When we left, I offered to leave the book if anyone wanted to look at it... one of the girls excitedly said she was hoping I would leave it. She really wanted to read it. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I would encourage anyone interested in this book to buy it, read it, and give it to someone else who will read it too. For the money, what a great witnessing tool! It's so factual, it will speak to those who are kind of "on the fence".
