Daarnaast worden ook extracten van planten, delen van bomen, struiken, zeewieren en groenten toegevoegd. Om de tincturen van B. nagel voor een lange tijd houdbaar te maken is alcohol als conserveringsmiddel toegevoegd. De fytotherapeutische tincturen zijn overal makkelijk te gebruiken en handig om mee te nemen.
Avena Sativa tinctuur bevat 10% Haverstro (Avena Sativa stramentum).
