Het is belangrijk dat de zijstukken dicht bij de mondhoeken zitten. Als er te veel ruimte is tussen de mondhoek en het zijstuk, kan het Weymouth-bit instabiel worden of kantelen.
De kinketting moet zo worden afgesteld dat er een hoek van ongeveer 30 tot 45 graden ontstaat tussen de mondopening van het paard en de onderbeen.

Hotel-like comfort at home
