De boom die symbool staat voor al het leven op het eiland, dreigt te sterven. Het is aan jou om dat tegen te houden.

In Harvest Moon: Animal Parade is het leven verdwenen op een bewoond eiland. Bomen groeien niet meer en dieren zijn ongelukkig. Het is aan de held van het verhaal om de Mother Tree weer tot leven te wekken. Hiervoor moet je niet alleen het land bewerken, maar is het ook de bedoeling dat je sociale relaties ontwikkeld tussen de mensen en de dieren op het eiland. Pas wanneer alles in harmonie is, zal het eiland weer bloeien.

Normaal gesproken kom je alleen vee tegen in de wereld van Harvest Moon, maar in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade mag je ook rekenen op de aanwezigheid van pinguïns en panda's.
