Heb ik nog meer nodig?

Om goed te werk te gaan is het handig om goed voorbereid te zijn. Denk onder andere aan het volgende:

  • Smeermiddel om de bewegende delen in te vetten zodat uw machine weer soepel koffie kan zetten.
  • Priem in het geval dat rubberwerk vastzit en moeilijk te verwijderen is.
  • Ontkalkingsmiddel om kalk van de onderdelen te verwijderen
  • Ontvettingsmiddel om oude koffie op te lossen en alles schoon te maken.


Hoe weet ik welk onderdeel waar hoort?

Het is altijd verstandig om de tijd te nemen en te fotograferen hoe u de machine (de)monteert, zo kunt u ten alle tijden terugkijken hoe de machine in elkaar zat.

Verder kan het geen kwaad om de technische tekening van uw machine te raadplegen om te zien hoe alle onderdelen in elkaar passen, deze is hier te vinden.

Als extra treft u op de 2e afbeelding een technische tekening van de Quick Mill 820 aan met rood omcirkeld de onderdelen van deze set. 

De set is geschikt voor de 820, 835, 2820, 2835, 3000, 3002, 3004, 3035, Sunny en evo70.

High quality, fast reading, easy to use
This is a very nice product. It works as advertised. It appears to be reasonably well made too. I'd give it 5 stars, but I have a few gripes that force me to subtract 1 star: 1) Price. While it appears to be pretty well made and is quite attractive in appearance, it doesn't quite have the feel and heft of a $109 gadget. It is at least twice the price of any other pro-level, instant-read thermometer available on Amazon. Hopefully it will provide years of accurate, durable, reliable use, befitting of its hefty price tag. 2) The screw on the battery compartment cover gave me fits. It took a little more elbow grease than I expected to get it to turn, making me more than a bit concerned that I might strip the screw. 3) The "Careful it's sharp" warning label affixed to the probe itself was practically *glued* on. I had to carefully use a razor blade to get it off, and even then, there was a lot of residual adhesive and bits of the label stuck to the probe--and under my thumbnail too! I had to take out my Goo Gone adhesive remover to clean the probe of the adhesive and leftover bits of label, and also to extract the crap out from under my thumbnail...these are NOT steps I wanted or needed to take to put this thing into service! Jeez! Anyway, I'll update this review after I get a few months of use out of the Typhur InstaProbe.

Quality whisker for the price. Takes 2 AA batteries and has a stand and different mixing tip. I like that it has a pressure sensitive button on the top that has variable speed and easy to control by just easing your thumb off or pushing down the power button. Top speed is almost too much for a regular sized glass but you can easily depress the button to only "half" pressure and keep at medium speed.
