Als in het warme Salice Salentino de druiven de perfecte rijpheid hebben worden ze met de hand geoogst onder leiding van de broers. Stuk voor stuk worden ze gecontroleerd en in kleine kratjes vervoerd naar de pers. Na de persing krijgt deze rode wijn een hout lagering van wel achttien maanden. Een deel van het gebruikt eiken hout is nieuw en dat geeft veel smaak af aan deze mooie wijn. Door de lange rijping mag deze Puteus de benaming Riserva dragen. Deze Riserva is extra lang gelagerd op eikenhouten vaten en dat maakt hem speciaal. Puteus Salice Salentino is een heerlijk glas met in de geur een vleugje leer en kruidigheid, maar ook kersen, vanille en eiken hout. In de smaak licht gerijpt met tonen van amandelen, een warme en redelijk zwoele smaak, kruidig, niet te zwaar maar vooral goed sap. Met wat zuren een levendigheid in de afdronk. Wilt u deze wijn combineren met een gerecht, dan is dat natuurlijk mogelijk. Prachtige combinaties zijn pasta's, wild gerechten, gegrild rood vlees en stoofpotjes.Shipping Notes
