De wijnstokken staan aangeplant in twee verschillende zones in Montalcino, te weten: Canalicchio di Sopra en Le Gode di Montosoli. De verschillen in ligging en bodem zorgen voor verschillende types Sangiovese, die in de kelders zorgvuldig samen versmolten worden tot een prachtig resultaat.
