In onore proprio di “Desiderio”, oggi Avignonesi produce l’omonimo vino, Rosso di Toscana ricavato dalle più pregiate uve aziendali di merlot e cabernet sauvignon. Lasciato riposare per 18 mesi in barrique di rovere francese, è un rosso importante, che ha fatto letteralmente la storia di Avignonesi: se lo proverete ne capirete all’istante il perché. È uno di quegli assaggi che nessun amante e appassionato di vini si dovrebbe permettere di mancare.
Richiede di essere abbinato alle preparazioni a base di carne. Ottimo per accompagnare il capretto in umido.
