Aluminium draad heeft u nodig om de takken van uw bonsai te vormen. Het dunne draad voor de kleine takjes en het dikkere draad voor de zwaardere takken. Het aluminium Bonsai draad is zorgvuldig geproduceerd en geanodiseerd in Japan. Het anodiseren geeft het aluminium een hardere oxidelaag die het draad sterker maakt, beter beschermt tegen corrosie en vooral de donkere kleur geeft (meestal bruin of zwart), zodat het minder opvalt in de boom.
