Bij de verhalen uit het Oude Testament tref je kaderteksten die vooruitwijzen naar de beloofde Messias van Israël, onze Heere Jezus Christus. En bij de verhalen uit het Nieuwe Testament vind je de Beloofd=beloofd kaders, die laten zien hoe de Heere Jezus beloften van God uit het Oude Testament vervulde. Speciale aandacht is er voor de plaats van het volk Israël in dat grote plan van God. Verder zijn er teksten om uit je hoofd te leren en gedeelten waarin de verhalen worden toegepast op het leven van kinderen nu, met gespreksvragen. Zo bevat deze prachtig uitgevoerde (dikke, 640 pagina's) bijbel een schat aan materiaal voor jong en oud (leeftijd 6-120); een echte gezinsbijbel dus. Puppy loves these sticks!
