Deze opleiding is bedoeld voor zorgverleners werkzaam in palliatieve zorg.

Programma

Deze praktijkgerichte vorming ondersteunt zorgverleners in het voeren van sensitieve en respectvolle gesprekken met patiënten en naasten met diverse achtergronden, waarden, overtuigingen en verwachtingen in de laatste levensfase. De opleiding vertrekt vanuit reflectie op de eigen communicatiestijl en referentiekaders en onderzoekt hoe deze de interactie met anderen beïnvloeden.

Aan de hand van herkenbare praktijkvoorbeelden oefenen deelnemers in het bespreekbaar maken van gevoelige thema's en het omgaan met verschillen in perspectieven. Er wordt bijzondere aandacht besteed aan communicatietechnieken die bijdragen aan wederzijds begrip, vertrouwen en afstemming op de unieke noden van patiënten en hun naasten. Zo versterken deelnemers hun vaardigheden om in complexe en diverse zorgsituaties verbindend en professioneel te communiceren.


Docent

Arzu Yentür is docente psychologie aan de Erasmushogeschool Brussel. Binnen de opleidingen Sociaal Werk en Communicatiemanagement inspireert ze jonge talenten met haar diverse inzichten vanuit de psychologie. Daarnaast werkt zij als klinisch psychologe in Brussel met een cultureel divers cliënteel. Tevens is zij auteur van het boek ‘Werkboek cultuursensitieve zorg’. Dit werkboek reikt concrete cultuursensitieve tools en tips op maat van de zorg- en hulpverlener aan. De praktische tips versterken de zorg- en hulpverleners in hun professionaliteit om zo te komen tot cultuursensitieve zorg aan ouderen.
