This is not your average dual stabilizer kit you see on 80's era Chevy's, not even close. The Carli Kit takes three of their products and combines them into a single kit to deliver a net effect greater than any stabilizer on the market.
HOW IT WORKS: As previously mentioned, this system works vastly different than your traditional dual stabilizer kits on the market. First, the kit starts with one of Carli's acclaimed High Mount Stabilizers that clamps to the drag link under the pitman arm and bolts to the sway bar mounting bracket. This applies pressure towards the drivers side.
Next, you get a low mount stabilizer, but instead of mounting it in the factory location, you're actually reversing its mounting. Instead of one end tied to the axle bracket at the passenger side and the other to a bracket on the center link tie rod, you're going to mount one end to the differential cover via the included bracket, and the other to the steering linkage. This change in mounting positions reverses the push you would get in the traditional location, now applying pressure towards the passenger side.
And further, out of all this, you also benefit from an indestructible differential cover that serves as the mounting provisions for the low mount stabilizer. Wow, that was a mouth full, but we promise....IT WORKS!
T-STYLE VS. Y-STYLE STEERING
You'll need to know what kind of steering you have. The easiest way to tell is to look at how your current stabilizer mounts. If you have a hole in the middle of the center link bar that the existing stabilizer mounts through via a tapered stud, then you have the Y-Style, but if you have a plate with two U-bolts, then you have the T-Style.
