Ugly Pot

 This handmade vase is finished with minimal polishing after several times of drying by pouring white earthen water on the pottery, which is made with a coiling technique in which thin strings of clay are continuously piled up.  

 The free flow of water invades the regular rhythm of stacking up the clay, creating a commotion. This is the subtle beauty of coexistence created by what the artist intended and what he did not.
