Palate - There is a distinct European oak flavor with a hint of dryness and a balanced blend of wood spices, smoked oak, and roasted coffee. It also features a touch of barbeque sweetness, black pepper, rich fruit cake, and dried fruits, with a drop of water enhancing the smoky and fruity notes from the wine casks.

Finish - Smoked malt, smouldering oak and sea salt settle on the finish as Octomore's signature earthy smoke lingers.
