Description

7ft 2in Medium Fishing will never be the same again once you have fished this rod! We built this rod with one thing in mind Versatility, which is the number one trend with our new rods. Inshore fisherman that just do not want an 8ft rod to target Tarpon because they own a bay boat and want to utilize this rod offshore bottom fishing is just one of the many things that we thought of when building this rod. If you want to have a rod that will allow you run offshore do a little bit of vertical jigging with Butterfly jigs or Bucktail jigs, knocking rigging through the water column for Snappers, flat line fishing while on the anchor, slow trolling live baits, pitch baiting to Dolphin while cruising up and down weed lines, and throwing plugs to Blackfin Tuna and Amberjack you should highly consider buying this rod! It's a toss-up, but one thing I can honestly say is that if I was stranded on an Island with one rod and reel this rod would be in my top 3 for sure! That's saying a lot considering the endless amounts of rods at our fingertips just in our store alone. Versatility, Price, and Durability all go into making that decision and this rod has all three knocked out like Tyson in his prime. Some things that we noticed in other rods that are similar in action and price was that while the blanks these companies used were great, they were lacking certain features, like double or triple foot guides throughout the entire blank. Some companies were putting aluminum reel seats on spinning rods "yuck". Why add the weight and have a reel seat that is constantly loosening while fishing it unless you take a pair of channel locks to it. Most companies weren't even putting a gimble on the bottom of the rod. So, we saw a hole in the market, and we filled it with this rod. This rod comes with   Alps SS316 marine grade stainless steel guides with zirconium ring, Fuji double locking reel seat, and rubber locking gimble. No more rods spinning all over the place while in the rod holders, no more sliding around on the floor with a plastic gimble, and most importantly no more chasing down guide repairs due lack of quality of the guide train!

7ft 2in Medium Heavy   If you're an avid offshore fisherman, listen up. The 72MH is a 3-point shot at the buzzer to win the game rod! If you're looking for and offshore spinning rod that will do everything from Grouper fishing, Amberjack, Tuna's, Sailfish, vertical jigging, flatline fishing off the transom, Cobia, throwing poppers, and so much more this is the rod you need. If you're wondering where this rod would fall in my "stranded on an island with one rod and reel Delima" it's definitely in the top 3 for sure! At Dogfish we are all super passionate about our jobs and the merchandise that we sell, one thing I can assure is that every one of our guys get all sorts of warm and fuzzy when they pick this rod up! If you're outfitting a boat or just plain and simple looking for a new rod this should definitely be in your line up. We don't want to come across as know it all's for sure because we are far from it, however I can personally tell you with my own insight because of all of the years that I have put in and money wasted trying to put together the most versatile rods and reels, that this rod is a straight up game winner! We used the same components on this rod as we did with the 72M, Alps SS316 marine grade stainless steel guides with zirconium ring, Fuji double locking reel seat, and rubber locking gimble. This is what we would recommend putting on this rod

Great for training and play!
Size: Medium, Number of Items: 1
My German shepherd love this toy! Great to take on walks with you as light weight and can fit in your pocket. Stands up to the toughest of play. Great as reward toy for training in place of treats! We always have one on hand at home or out and about!

Great for big dogs
Size: Medium, Number of Items: 1
Our pup is now 15 months old (nearly 110 lb and still growing). We got this ball when he was 3 or 4 months old. GOODS - - Our pup fetches with extreme drive, and the rope helps him quickly snatch the ball off the ground (versus a tennis ball, in which we are worried he will go head over heels at times) - Our pup also loves to play fetch in the water, and this ball floats great and again, the rope gives another point to bite onto - The yellow color is easy to see, even in grass - Our pup typically fetches the ball, and leaves the rope mostly out of his mouth. So, throwing the ball doesn't result in saliva-covered hands - It's pretty easy to throw the ball 50', and possible to throw it 100' - It doesn't roll/bounce, so if you are for example playing fetch on your front lawn and are concerned with a tennis ball rolling into the street, this one alleviates that issue - Our pup is spoiled and has several balls. This is absolutely his go to ball. We have woken up in the morning before to see him standing next to the bed with the ball in his mouth, asking us to get up and play. BADS - - Occasionally when he goes to fetch it, he will step on the rope as he tries to pull up on the ball. - We have gotten this ball stuck in trees multiple times. In fact, there is one stuck on the roof of our church from playing fetch on the lawn there. :-/ Not a fault of the ball, but if you start whipping it around like nunchucks, it might not go where you want. - The near max you can through this ball is 100'. And since it doesn't roll/bounce, throw distance is throttled. We often play fetch in a local baseball field, and have no issue wearing him out with this ball. However, if you are planning on throwing a ball the distance of half a football field, you might want to consider something else. SIZE - - We purchased both the medium and the large. Even though our pup is huge and can fit a soccer ball in his mouth, he still prefers the medium. It's easier for him to get in his mouth and breath while running back. The medium is the size of an orange, whereas the large is the size of a grapefruit. DURABILITY - - We have gone through about 4 of these balls, BUT this is because we lost 3 of them. We believe he dropped one out of the car window while we were driving, one is on the roof of our church, and I forget about the other one. On the first one we had, the stitching behind the black tape was down to a few threads after about 5 months. Given duration we use these balls (every day) and the joy he gets from them, I feel the durability is good for the price. - We do play tug with the ball at times, and no issues there Enjoy!

Good but better options out there.
Good ball, but is a cheaper version of the Foamster sold online. The rope is cheap and comes apart, and can be abrasive to a dogs mouth. The Foamster uses a higher quality ball and are more durable and use grippy biothane straps rather than cheap rope. They are also made to order in the USA with lots of fun colors. Worth the extra money if your dog likes these balls.

Fun toy for fetch
Size: Medium, Number of Items: 1
Daisy loves this toy. I found it from her dog trainer, and it makes rewarding her with a quick tug of war and fetch really easy. Also it’s shockingly durable. It looks like foam, but she has not destroyed this one.

One Tough Ball!
Color: Blue
Our dogs are loving this ball. Our 1 yr old hound is a world-class chewer and he can't make a dent in this ball. The interactive buzzing and bouncing keeps them entertained for long durations. It's a mite noisy but the barking from the 1 yr old is much louder, lol. Even turned off, they like playing with it and chewing on it. Based on the tough construction, we think it will last much longer than traditional chew balls.
