The kit includes the Shapton Kuromaku Japanese Whetstones #320, #2000, and #8000. These stones are part of the colour-coded Kuromaku series, where each colour represents a different coarseness level. They are versatile Waterstones that can also be used as oilstones.
The stones come in a convenient storage case, which not only makes it easy to carry them but also doubles as a sharpening base. The stackable design of the cases allows for easy storage and quick identification of the grits. Rubber feet on the base provide a stable working surface for mobile sharpening, and the ventilated base ensures proper drying of the stones to prevent cracking.
