The Horizontech Talons 3 originally came with a 0.2Ω built-in Kanthal Coil pod cartridge. This is featured with the classic Talon Pod Coil with natural wood pulp blend cotton and top-filling automatic pressure exhaust. Though that might have seemed as technical jargon, it allows pure flavour recreation and a conveniently easy e-liquid refilling.

Intelligent Coil Recognition

The Horizontech Talons 3 houses the world's first ever intelligent pod-coil material recognition. This kit is equipped with a smart chip that automatically identifies the material of the coil material installed and automatically switches between the power mode and temperature control it decides to be the most suitable. 

For example, if you install a pod coil with FeCrAl material, the device will automatically switch to its power mode, whereas on the other hand, if you install one with stainless steel as its material, the device recognises temperature control mode to be most suitable.

Adjustable Airflow

Power Outputs

The Horizontech Ohm Kits provides a wide range of power output, with the maximum being 40W. However, the power output you should go for also depends on the pods you have installed. If you use a high-resistance pod coil and go with a really high power output, it could result in excessive stress on the coil and depletion in flavour.

According to Horizontech Talons 3, you are recommended to use a 0.2 Talons Pod cartridge for the best performance, as it is the most suitable for this device. As the world's first sub-ohm pod, the Talons 3 provides us with a zero-delay start. This is especially true when we use a 0.2 ohm resistance coil.

If you want to experience the full 40W of power output, make sure to use a 0.2 ohm resistance pod coil. If you use a 0.4 one or higher, it is recommended to not go over 30W of power output.

Automation and safety

Hoeizontech Talons 3 is a Sub Ohm kit supporting both draw activation and button-activated functionality. As both of these have their own pros and cons, it is a lifesaver that this device houses them both.
