Mis-hits:
The weight of the Ball of Steel means it rolls off the putter face slowly- any type of mis-hit means the ball will move so slowly you will probably double or triple hit it.
Eliminate a decelerating stroke:
If your stroke is losing momentum as it approaches the ball, your distance control will suffer. The weight of the Ball of Steel demands a stroke with energy at impact.
Putts hit on the toe or heel, high or low on the face:
The heavy ball will let you know immediately if there is a mis-hit.
Places all your focus on a solid hit:
Since the goal of the Ball of Steel is to create a solid stroke, it takes away other thoughts about distance, target, or method. This focus translates into much quicker improvement!
All your muscles have to remain in motion:
With the heavy ball, there is no popping stroke or deceleration at impact. All the muscles that motor your stroke have to continue through the ball and stay connected. You will feel this connection in just a few strokes of the Ball of Steel.
Your body will adjust the shaft angle for consistent loft:
The weight of the Ball of Steel demands that there is no pre-release of the putter head. This could happen during setup - with the shaft leaning away from the target. It could happen during the stroke if the hands flip. Not with the heavy ball! You will find yourself delivering the putter head and shaft in the correct position without thinking.

Getting Started with the Ball of Steel
Start your practice with the Ball of Steel by trying to roll putts a few feet, make about 25 strokes. You won't be used to the weight of the ball, so don't be surprised if you double hit a few before you learn to carry your momentum through the ball. You will get the hang of it by your 10th stroke. It's a blast!
The Ball of Steel Demands a Square Putter Face
Since the ball is so heavy, it rolls absolutely true off the face... it will not be bumped offline :) Learning to hit the ball solid has never been so quick.
Caution: The Ball of Steel is made for putts of less than 6 feet. Attempting to hit longer putts may cause damage to your club or personal injury. Use at your own risk.

•Drill 1: Ball of Steel 15 ft. Drill
Roll the Ball of Steel 3’, then hit a solid 15 footer with a normal ball. Since the Ball of Steel is 5 times the weight of a ball, the strokes are the same.
Drill 2: Ball of Steel 1-2-3 Drill
Roll the Ball of Steel 1’, 2’, then 3’ - then hit a 5’, 10’, and 15’ putt. Your stroke will be energized.

Charges well and is sturdy and secure.

This has been working really well for me. I have it mounted on my dash and not the window and it is very sturdy. My phone charges well with this and it has never dropped my phone and doesnt wiggle with car movement do it is very sturdy compared to others iv had in the past. Easy to remove phone and put phone in without having to adjust size every time. Great for delivery drivers. I haven't used the vent mount and don't see the need for it.

Well-designed but might not fit smaller phones

This is a very nice product. My only complaint is that it is not well-suited for my older Samsung S22 phone, because the phone sits so low I. The cradle that its power button is inaccessible. I solved that by fastening a small spacer onto the bottom edge of the cradle, and now it works very well. It would be a better product if the bottom edge of the cradle could be adjusted. Aside from that minor issue, it automatically grips the phone and holds it firmly, and there's a built-in battery so the ungripping process functions even after the ignition is turned off and power to the cradle is shut off.

Works Great

I really like the automatic closing feature when my iPhone is placed on the charger. I have a Pro Max and I thought the phone might be too heavy for the clasp and would move while driving. I have used both the suction cup and vent connector to hold charger and phone without it moving. The device also must have a capacitor or battery, as when the power is off to the holder, you can still press the release button and the charger opens to release the phone
