Height Adjustment: To enable safe transfer and use, the height of the changing surface adjusts from as low as 12” (30 cm.) to as high as 41” (104 cm.) from the floor. For easy access, sets of height adjustment buttons are located on the bed and the face of the wall cover. The curved dip in the changing surface guard allows for easier caregiver access.

For Adults and Adolescents: The KB3000 has been tested to support up to 500 lbs. (227 kg.) and has a large changing surface that is 75 ¼” long by 31 ½” wide (19.1 cm x 80 cm).

Safety: This UL compliant station has a built-in back-up battery to ensure continuous operation in the case of a power outage. A wall-mounted emergency stop button breaks power to actuator for additional safety.

Durability: Vandal-resistant changing surface and integrated recessed height controls are fabricated to withstand tampering. The plastic surface has an IX10 rating, which means it is resistant to high-impact and sharp objects. The changing surface frame is constructed with 2” powder coated, rust-free steel tubing and the IPX4 rating means the station can withstand significant exposure to water without damage to its electrical components. The unit also has no removable parts or exposed wires.

Maintenance: The smooth changing surface is made of polyethylene and can be easily wiped down and cleaned. It can also withstand being hosed down with water if needed. The crevice-free design prevents the buildup of contamination on the changing surface.
