AquaVet® Copper Sulfate is a trusted and highly effective solution designed to eliminate floating, submerged, and planktonic algae in freshwater ponds, lakes, and water features. Formulated for targeted treatment, this granular algaecide controls a wide range of algae types including microscopic algae, filamentous algae, and rooted Chara algae, restoring water clarity and reducing unpleasant odors caused by excessive algae growth.

Application & Dosage:

• Mix 2.5 to 4 lbs of AquaVet® Copper Sulfate granules per acre with 10–15 gallons of water.

• Dissolve granules completely before spraying over algae mats.

• Do not treat more than 25–33% of pond surface at once to avoid oxygen depletion from decaying vegetation.

• Wait 7–10 days between treatments and repeat as necessary throughout the season.

• Best applied at early algae bloom stages for optimal control.
