Premium gear lube 8M0222063 is for use in all Mercury and Mariner outboards and jet pumps below 75hp. Provides maximum protection against excessive wear, even in presence of water inside the gear case. Prevents corrosion and pitting of gears and gear case parts. This is a 32 oz. bottle of gear lube and is sufficient quantity for multiple gear case fills, depending on the size of your gear case. Use with gear lube pump 8M0222068 to make gear case filling clean and easy. Clean oil is essential in reducing friction and preventing damage to internal components, providing many years of engine life. Engineered for sterndrive and outboard lower units, this high-performance SAE 90 gear oil has been extensively tested to ensure impressive protection against corrosion and wear. Specifically formulated to help prevent failures due to water entering the gear housing.
