This specimen is an Amphitheatre Feldspar matrix with Mica holding Aquamarine & Quartz crystals weighing 325ct or 65g.

The Feldspar matrix with Mica holding these crystals has an interesting formation. This is why I have called it Amphitheatre Feldspar. The Aquamarine and Quartz crystals are clear. Both are about 7mm long. This interesting specimen was obtained in Afghanistan for us by Lawrence Handicrafts. It is UV reactive.

Aquamarine is a blue/green variety of Beryl that forms in hexagonal columns. Aquamarine is an extraordinary crystal as it helps open a clear channel between your throat and heart chakras. I bought this set to replace a stainless steel set I have after the nickel in the stainless steel cookware starting leeching into my food and causing some pretty severe reactions. I made sure to read the instructions that came with this ceramic-coated cookware before use, and made a note to not heat it on high - I have cast iron for that anyway. I appreciate how light weight this cookware is, and how easy it is to clean with soap and water - I don't put my cookware in the dishwasher. So far it appears to work well making sauces, heating vegetables, cooking pasta, but I do have to plan a little extra time to get water to boil, of course. One thought for the designers - it would be helpful if the lids fit more than 1 pot. It would be nice, for instance, for the large pot lid to fit the large skillet for sauces that need to simmer and/or reduce for a while. Overall, this cookware is an extremely good value and I'd purchase it again.
