The left side has a Luftwaffe decal that checks in at 60% intact. The tri color shield is about the same. Inside is a size 59 leather liner. It is soft with some minor wear and discoloration from use. There is a drawstring as well as a reinforced aluminum liner band that is maker marked, dated 1939 and size stamped 66 59.

The side of the interior is stamped SE 66 indicating production by Sachsische Emaillerwerke in the size of 66. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 4296 indicating production sometime during 1939. There is a brown leather chinstrap that is in good condition. A very good example overall!
