The E1X A500 Integrated amplifier combines the finest fully balanced analog preamp with high-powered stereo amplification in a constrain layer E1X aluminum chassis. Designed to support the finest source components with balanced and single-ended analog inputs combined with high-powered stereo amplification. The precision volume control lets you dial in the level to drive the most complex or efficient speaker with ultra-low noise power. The combination is dynamic and detailed.
The fully balanced preamplifier stage is designed using precision resistors and custom low noise triple isolated power transformer to maintain the optimal signal balance to the amplifier that achieves the lowest noise and distortion levels possible.

The high efficiency of Class D eliminates thermal modulation, making the E1X integrated amplifier resistant to output stage bias wander and sonic ghosting. The output power devices are operating as efficient switches, in that few output devices are needed to deliver considerable audio power. The E1X Amplifier is designed with ultra-short signal paths and uses the absolute minimum number of output devices to deliver over 500 watts of audio power without loss of dynamics, remaining true to the audio source.

Its discrete SSHC input stage, high-current output design, and advanced switch-mode power supply provide 250W into 8 ohms and 500W into 4 ohms—preserving clarity, drive, and musical detail at any volume.
E1X A500 Integrated Amplifier Technology
Our proprietary SSHA (Single Stage High-Current Amplifier) interposer defines the sonic quality of the E1X Integrated Amplifier. This is a very fast, low noise amplifier with a single-stage folded cascode architecture and over 500mA of peak current output capability. It maintains constant very low distortion levels through the audio band because of its high open-loop bandwidth. The SSHA module brings a further element of dynamic resolution and contrast to the NCore Amplifier power buffer. The vertical modular design permits a tight, efficient Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout that combines the best of IC based and discrete component design. The PCB represents a final degree of design refinement that is especially critical when the circuit is capable of 130dB of dynamic range or more.
