P38 and with the ordnance code bdr indicating production by Richard Ehrhardt, Lederwarenfabrik, Poeseneck Poessneck, Thuringia. The

The reverse is stamped with a waffenamt, the date ’41. “P38” and with the ordnance code” bdr” indicating production by Richard Ehrhardt, Lederwarenfabrik, Poeseneck Poessneck, Thuringia. The interior is stamped with some identifying info plus there are two hand written names. One is of the German veteran with his feldpost number as well. This one is hard to read. The GI wrote his name, Dav. Whitworth. Very nice!
