Waterlilies prefer calm, still water, away from fountains, pumps, cascades or other turbulence. Plant Nymphaea Arc-En-Ciel water lilies in full sun to promote flowering. They are best planted in aquatic compost, or heavy clay-based loam, in an aquatic basket.
Nymphaea Arc-En-Ciel displays pretty white, pink blushed starlike shaped flowers. Larger blooms have a pronounced sweet smell. Not as prolifically flowering as other lilies but the unique variegated foliage with red-brown marbled or with yellow & white splashes on the leaves makes up for it.
Nymphaea Arc-En-Ciel Water Lily are an excellent choice of pond plant for any size of pond. Plant N. Arc-En-Ciel Water Lily in still water away from splashing fountains. Lower the water lily gradually so the leaves can stretch to the surface within a few days. Remove dead leaves and flowers during the growing season.
Lily spread and planting depths are provided as a guide only, with the depth being the amount of water above the crown. In shallow water excessive leaf growth will rise above the surface and reduce flower blooms. The leaves of lilies shade the pond providing shelter for fish from predators such as herons, and reducing sunlight exposure to prevent algae growth.
How do you look after water lilies in the winter?
For hardy water lily plants, the key to over-wintering water lilies like the Nymphaea Arc-En-Ciel Water Lily is to move them to the deepest part of your pond. This will insulate the water lilly plant a little from repeated freezing and thawing which limit your water lily's chance of surviving the cold. Great mount!
Great under desk NAS mount. Adjustable and sturdy, easy to install. Worked well for my Qnap TR-004 four slot DAS. I used 5/64 drill bit for the holes. Since my desk has a rear lip I reused rear stopper bit as a headphone hanger. I bend it slightly to a hook shape.

Got Some Work To Do!

Inspired by a kitten, I endeavored to clean up behind my audio desk, where a maze of wires is the picture of confusion, but apparently also a wonderful place to pull and tug, nap and chew ... so I got this. Then it sat there for a week while I thought about it. Felt complicated, organizing that big wad of a mess of wires. But when I finally got to it, it wasn't too bad at all, and the difference is huge! This item fit under the back of the desk perfectly and provides a deep tray you can immediately start to run wires though. Eventually you'll get there! Good luck!
