In this game, players draft Railroad Shares into their Portfolio and the Rail Yard for collective scoring. Each player starts with a hand of 8 cards (or 6 in a 4-player game), each featuring a city, company, and good.
Players simultaneously choose one card to place face up in their Portfolio (directly in front of them) and one card to place face up in the Rail Yard (in the center of the table). Once all players reveal their chosen cards, they are sorted into Companies (colors) for easier viewing and scoring.
