The KOA 20 enhances the AS System with a multi-functional battery compressor for a wide range of private applications. The 2-in-1 unit is both a compressor and an air pump, making inflation and deflation quick, easy and convenient. Thanks to its compact design and securely integrated accessories, the KOA 20 is mobile and ready for use at any time. The integrated light also ensures good visibility in the dark. 

The STIHL KOA 20 battery compressor is easy to use. For versatile applications, you can make various settings on the KOA 20 via the HMI display that is easy to see from above. For example, you can choose between the high-pressure function and the volume function at the touch of a button, set the desired pressure and check the charge level of the battery. During the inflation and deflation process, the rubber feet of the KOA 20 ensure secure and low-vibration stability.

Features

Digital Display

The digital HMI display, which is easily readable from above, facilitates easy operation and shows important information such as the current charge level of the inserted battery. A range of settings can be conveniently adjusted using the buttons on the control panel located directly below the display. For example you can switch between high pressure and volume function, adjust the selected target pressure and switch the integrated LED light on and off.

Accessory Storage

Accessories can be easily and practically stored on the power tool so that they are immediately to hand for use.

Constant Power

With other brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.

Carrying Ring

The power tool has an integrated carrying ring. This allows you to store your power tool safely and compactly.

FAQ

Question: What can I use the KOA 20 for?

A: The KOA 20 is suitable for time-saving inflation of car or bicycle tires as well as for convenient inflation and quick deflation of leisure and sports equipment such as balls of all kinds or inflatable boats.

Question: Can I inflate my SUP (stand-up paddle board) with the KOA 20?

A: Although it is possible to inflate a SUP with the KOA 20, we would advise not to use the KOA 20 to inflate SUPs due to the duration and battery consumption. Tests have shown that the inflation time in high pressure mode is >40 minutes, thus approx. 1 1/3 battery charges are required.

Question: Is it possible to use compressed air tools (e.g. compressed air gun/impact wrench) with the KOA 20?

A: The KOA 20 is not designed for use with air-powered tools; a compressor with a tank and higher output is required for this type of application.

Question: Is it possible to blow out a drinking water or a garden water supply (house/mobile home) with the KOA 20?

A: The KOA 20 is not intended for this application; an oil-free compressor with a tank and higher capacity is required.

Question: Does the AS battery included in the set fit other STIHL tools? 

A: Yes, the AS 2 can be used with all other devices of the AS system.
