About: A stunning series of original oil paintings by artist Gil Mutch, inspired by coastal scenes in Norfolk. Gil maintains a quality and consistency across a body of work, painting in an identifiable and distinctive style and a variety of subject matter (landscapes, still life studies and portraits). Her starting point for a picture is always an experience - vivid, but sometimes quite fleeting. Repeated layers and textures are built up in Gil's intriguing work, frequently returning to a painting, over a very long period of time, before the piece is complete.

She exhibits widely across the UK, with principal solo exhibitions including the Stable Gallery (London), Baker Tilly (London) and The John Russell Gallery (Sulfolk)
