Behind the Art: Meet Jordan Kempain
Every Kempain Original begins as an original hand-drawn illustration. As the founder of Kempain Family Outfitters, Jordan has been designing and illustrating professionally since 2009. His career began in marketing agencies across Connecticut, New York City, and Washington, D.C., but his real inspiration has always been found beyond the digital canvas.
A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Art School and an active outdoorsman participating in hunting, fishing, and archery, Jordan draws directly from his time spent in the woods of Putnam, Connecticut, to inform every stroke of his pen.
"I wanted to create a brand where art and the wild come together—featuring graphics that stand out from the crowd," says Jordan. "By prioritizing original sketches over mass-produced clip art, we ensure every design carries a personal touch that reflects the adventurous spirit of the person wearing it."
