ABOUT THE ART

“This piece is based on a painting I did for my ‘Earth Crisis’ show in Paris. The entire body of work for that show used these shades of blue/turquoise as a connection to the air and water that is essential to sustaining life on planet Earth. This piece is more specifically about the idea that we need to see what is right in front of us, that we are dependent on nature and I used the blooming flower as a symbol of both beauty and growth. If we keep ruining the air and water, things won’t grow, not to mention we’ll all get sick.”

This 6 ft room divider is exactly what I needed and works great! It was very easy to set up and took only a few minutes to assemble. Because it’s lightweight, it may need a bit of extra support depending on where you place it—I used small weights on the base, and that completely solved the stability issue. Assembly is harder than it should be, mainly because there shouldn't BE any assembly. I have ordered several room divider privacy screens over the last couple of years and not one of them needed any kind of assembly. With that aside, it STILL was a pain in the sphincter to assemble. One of the "legs" just sits on top of a foot plate - it's not screwed in to anything. It's kind of flimsy and the base plates don't have anything on them to not scuff up the floor. With all that said, though, it does stand up and will block out what I need to block out. At the less-than-$50 price-point, it's kind of what should be expected. If I had purchased this outright, I would have considered sending it back and getting a higher quality. But if you only have $50 to spare and don't mind assembling things, it could be good for you.

This room divider is exactly what I needed. When you have 2 kids sharing a room and don’t want to spend a lot of money to divide their space this is what you can use. Believe it or not they are much happier now. This came in a small box which scared me but once I was able to get this up I was very pleased. It was easy to put together. The fabric is pretty good quality, it’s stable and stands up fine. Good value and worth it to have peace and quiet in the house.
