Opticron's 10x42 Oregon 4 Binoculars feature phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, large objective lenses, and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics to give you a versatile and capable optic that produces bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color rendition from dawn to dusk. The high magnification and large objectives allow you to observe at a long distance without giving your position away. Their wide angle of view reveals a large observation area while minimizing the appearance of the distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics such as this. The combination of optics, magnification, and viewing angle makes this version of the Oregon 4 PC ideally suited for most outdoor activities from hunting to birding, sporting events, and sightseeing.

Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binoculars durable and comfortable to use. The chassis is made from a combination of aluminum and polycarbonate to make them lightweight as well as impact and corrosion resistant. The optical tubes are wrapped with rubber armoring, which not only protects them from drops and impacts, but also gives the binoculars a slip-resistant grip—especially in cold and wet weather. Their optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof, even when moving through extreme changes in temperature and environmental conditions. For long-duration observation sessions, the binoculars can be mounted on a tripod using an optional adapter to eliminate arm fatigue or to leave both hands free for other activities.
