The Tyrolia Protector series are the only lateral heel releasing alpine bindings that aim to protect ACL strain in the dangerous rearward twisting falls. They add an additional mode of release that allows the heel piece to come off in certain falls that can reduce the risk injury.
Protector+ is a new series that lowers the stand height of the bindings dramatically and brings the impressive protector technology into a more standardised stand height. No longer do you need to be high off the ski in order to benefit from protector tech.
