Real-World Maker Tips (Printing & Setup)
- NO AMS / MMU: Like all flexible materials, do not run this through the Bambu Lab AMS or any other automated multi-material system. It will stretch, jam, and cause a massive headache. You must feed this directly from an external spool holder (preferably one with smooth bearings) straight into the toolhead.
- Dry It Thoroughly: TPU is incredibly hygroscopic (it absorbs moisture from the air rapidly). Even though it comes vacuum-sealed, we highly recommend throwing it in a filament dryer before your first print to prevent stringing and popping noises.
- Model Selection: If you are printing shoes, look for "segmented" STLs designed specifically for FDM printing. Segmented structures maximize the bending capabilities of the MorPhlex material!
