Humidity Dry Box Troubleshooting
Problem: Gauge Not Working Correctly
Solution #1: Take everything out of the box, including the shelf foam. Unplug the unit from the power. Leave the door open for 1 hour, then plug the unit back in. Allow time for unit to work and check gauge.
Notes : To test is the gauge is working, you can also put a cup of hot water inside the box to raise humidity. Make sure the water is hot enough to cause steam. ------- These gauges are tested by professional humidity testing equipment before leaving the factory, do not use a consumer grade tester to compare levels as the consumer grade gauge is less accurate.
Solution #2: If you are sure that the humidity level is incorrect, please follow the steps below to adjust the gauge:
1. Press and hold the "Down" button
2. While holding, unplug the unit then plug it back in
3. The screen should start flashing, release "Down" button
4. Press the up or down button to adjust humidity to desired setting
5. Once set, leave buttons alone for 5 seconds, the system will start operating again normally
