Pro-Tip: The Cove and Bead profile is excellent for hiding transitions between joined pieces of wood. When routing end grain, always route the ends first, followed by the long grain edges. This technique ensures that any tear-out that occurs on the end grain is removed when you make the final pass along the long grain.
