Not two seconds into his sixth LP, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, Tyler, the Creator boldly stakes his claim with rap: ""Y'all ready?" booms the voice of DJ Drama, before the iconic "GANGSTA GRIZZILZ" tag jolts the album to life. Hosted by the legendary master-of-ceremonies, Tyler's latest LP imprints all the lessons of the last 8 years onto the raw rap talent of the Wolf era, combining visceral verses with expansive layers of production. Working with the likes of Westside Gunn and Freddie Gibbs has revitalised the outright fun of T's verses -- "AARGH, YOU LOOK MALNOURISHED" - as well as bringing the vivid storytelling of the former contrarian into subjects of vast personal import. It proves a sharp left turn after the progressive pop of 2019's IGOR -- but one that is realised with an unrelenting passion. Tyler's work has always been a patchwork of ever-increasing palettes, and CMIYGL is his most complex to date. Recurring tricks are masterfully melded into new templates: "RUNITUP!" continues the build-and-burst of "See You Again," "RISE!" folds IGOR's layered vocal textures into new visions, and "LEMONHEAD" channels Cherry Bomb for what sounds like an unironic take on Pink Guy's "Club Banger 3000." Yet it's equally clear that Tyler is continuing to expand with the sounds of his collaborators -- an intergalactic warble colours Uzi's "JUGGERNAUT" tour-de-force, while yacht-rap lessons from The Alchemist make for a spectacle on "HOT WIND BLOWS" and "SIR BAUDELAIRE." These new strides find a potent home among Tyler's powerful-yet-familiar production toolkit; "I been switchin' gears since Tracee Ellis Ross was UPN" he raps on digital-only closer "SAFARI," its soundscape playing out like a collage of each of his technicolour eras. As with every Tyler record, there's a plethora of breadcrumbs to follow. The album's central thread proffers a compelling forbidden-desire narrative, while the scratchy vocals akin to a much-referenced Wolf Haley are enough to make anyone drag their donut-print back out the wardrobe. In the minutiae, CMIYGL is equally abundant: "SWEET" is the full version of the interlude at the end of 2017's "I Ain't Got Time," while the Gravediggaz sample on "LUMBERJACK" is a sly wink to a tweet from the Bastardera. That's saying nothing of the cryptic "Tyler Baudelaire"; fans of Charles Baudelaire may find the poet's resonance in "WILSHIRE" and the album's stretching, international escapism, though concrete answers remain shrouded. In a 2011 conversation with Nas, Tyler played every part the fan: "Nazareth Savage," the rapper exclaims, recalling his favourite sample from the Brooklyn legend, "that s*** is, like, legit as f***." Ten years on, Tyler finds himself recreating the beat for his own dizzying "MANIFESTO." It proves not only an acknowledgement of his icon, but an apt parallel for CMIYGL's daring return to rap: not only does Tyler possess every ounce of the talent to square up with rap's greats, he now has confidence enough to do so. ~ David Crone

Good product, but needs a little work to be perfect.
Honest product review here: It's very close to being perfect. 1. The tubes are a very good size, I get annoyed with products that cost a lot and the tubes are the size of my fingers (Tiege). 2. The foaming cleanser is great, no complaints. My face feels very clean. 3. The facial scrub could use some work. This could be a preference but I like my facial scrubs to feel like they're taking a steel wool pad to my face and grinding the dead skin off, and afterwards I get that "fresh air" feel on my face. This doesn't cut it for me. If this was improved I would like this more. 4. The moisturizer. I'll start off with the good, it feels GREAT! It's not oily, it takes only 15-30seconds of rubbing to really get into my skin and just overall great feeling. HOWEVER, who the hell designed that smell. It's like a chemical mint, what in the world, I've never smelled anything like that. Not a fan, I feel us men have to deal with the worst smells; fresh sport, swagger, and tree bark for our options (i elect to pick tree bark). Now chemical mint??? Needs work. 5. No comments on the eye cream, I didn't use it. Probably never will who knows. This is a really solid product, the volume is there for the price, the moisturizer feels great, and the cleanser feels great. If they could fix the intensity of the facial scrub and that moisturizer smell it would be a 5 star for me. If you are the product design team or owner and you're reading this, it's close. Fix the two items I mentioned and you have me as a customer for life. However, I would advise against pushing that price point above $40. I feel the $32-$35 is a sweet spot. Tiege team has lost their minds pushing $45 product for those tubes, don't do that.

My new choice for skincare!
Was looking for new skincare and came across Viking Revolution. Let me just say I’m happy I did! Phenomenal skincare that really gets the job done. Luxurious lather on the Foaming cleanser, that leaves my face fresh and clean but not stripped of moisture. The microdermabrasion Skin Scrub is my fave and gentle enough to use everyday. My skin definitely looks brighter since I started using this. The set does come with an eye cream which is pretty great, and a moisturizer that doesn’t leave my skin and beard feeling greasy but nice and soft. Extremely impressed w the large sizes in the set and I’m totally a fan and loyal customer now. Excited to try some of their other products which there are a ton! Pricing is reasonable for everything you get and believe me a little goes a long way. 5 stars!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A major upgrade from standard drugstore brands—sophisticated scent & better lather.
I have been a long-time user of standard body washes (think Old Spice, Axe, or Dove Men), but I kept seeing hype about Cremo and decided to see if it was worth the slightly higher price tag. After using the 32oz Spice & Black Vanilla for a week, I can confidently say this is a massive upgrade for your shower routine. Here is how it stacks up against the typical grocery store brands: 1. The Scent is on another level: Most cheaper washes smell like generic "Sport" or "Ocean" cologne. This scent is much more complex and earthy. Top Notes: It starts with a sharp, spicy kick (that's the cardamom). Finish: It settles into a smooth, warm vanilla and tobacco scent. It smells more like a high-end department store fragrance than a soap. Staying Power: The scent actually lingers. If you shower in the morning, you will still catch subtle hints of the warm spices for a few hours, which pairs really well with woody colognes. 2. Performance & Feel: The consistency is thicker than what I'm used to. You only need one solid pump to get a rich lather with a loofah. Crucially, it rinses clean without leaving that "squeaky" residue that dries out your skin, but it also doesn't leave a slick oily film like some ultra-moisturizing washes do. It hits a perfect balance. 3. Value: The 32oz bottle is substantial. Because the gel is concentrated, I expect this bottle to last 3-4 months easily, making the cost per ounce very reasonable compared to buying smaller bottles of cheaper stuff every few weeks. Pros: Sophisticated, "grown-up" scent profile. High-quality pump (sturdy, doesn't clog). Non-drying formula is great for colder months. Cons: Potency: The scent is strong. If you are sensitive to fragrance or prefer unscented products, this might be overwhelming. The bathroom will smell like it for a good 20 minutes after you're done (which I enjoy, but keep it in mind). Verdict: This bridges the gap between basic hygiene and luxury grooming. If you are tired of smelling like "Blue Sport" and want something warmer and more refined for the fall/winter, this is absolutely worth the switch.

It smells as good as my cologne.
I never go out without a shot of Guerlain L'Homme Idéal L'Intense cologne. Guerlain does not offer a layered line of products with similar scents. I wanted a deodorant and body wash to match. None of the Old Spice scents came close. Axe Oud Wood & Dark Vanilla antiperspirant has more vanilla and is a bit subdued but works. Finding a body wash was harder. Cremo Spice & Black Vanilla Body Wash sounded promising, but I was apprehensive about its scent including tobacco. I did not want to smell like an ashtray. But when I opened the bottle, I was met with a surprising scent from the past. I immediately recognized it as premium Danish pipe tobacco. Most people do not recognize this aromatic scent as coming from tobacco at all. In fact, it smells more like fresh cured tobacco itself, not its smoke. This adds a very pleasant and masculine smell to the body wash on top of the spice, wood, and vanilla scent I was searching for. The scent only lasts a few hours after you rinse off. One push on the dispenser puts enough soap on a shower loofah to wash your whole body. I do not rinse off my loofah; I squeeze the soap out of it to wash my face, then I place it back in its tray next to the bottle. The scent of the remaining soap acts like incense until my next shower. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that this body soap has a rich lather and cleans as well as advertised. I had forgotten the reason I bought the body soap until I used it.
