Operating System & Storage Options;

The R36 series runs on a custom Linux-based operating system. As part of our PREMIUM service, we install the latest firmware update, however due to the time this takes, we have a backlog of consoles. If a colour you want appears out of stock, please let us know we will prioritise setting up any we have in stock.

The latest OS has altered the short-cut keys to make better use of the FN button. E.g, quick save is now FN+R1, instead of START+R1. This frees up the Start + Select buttons for games that make use of them.

We provide upgraded, premium-branded, SD cards in our store, should you wish to upgrade your storage correctly, by following the instructions provided. If you purchase an SD card with a console, we will install this for you to ensure you receive an upgraded console ready to pay out of the box. Please message us if you have specific requirements.
