Straight-up liver support with selenium, milk thistle, and dandelion

Anabolic Warfare Project Liver Support is a straightforward capsule formula for liver help, using a classic sports-nut approach: mix antioxidant protection, glutathione boosters, bile and digestive herbs, and a wide herbal lineup in an easy daily dose. This isn't some hyped single-ingredient detox gimmick. It's a multi-angle support setup that boosts your liver's antioxidant game while adding in time-tested herbs for liver, bile, and fluid balance.

The big standout here is selenium at 100mcg in a bisglycinate form. That's important. Selenium is a trace mineral that goes into over 25 selenoproteins, like glutathione peroxidases – those are your body's main antioxidant enzymes. The 100-200mcg range is backed by studies, so this is a real, solid dose, not just window dressing. In real life, it helps with antioxidant protection for your liver, which deals with oxidative junk from metabolism, workouts, and everyday stuff.

Next up is glutathione support. L-Cysteine HCl at 150mg gives you a sulfur amino acid that's a building block for glutathione production, and L-methionine at 50mg adds more sulfur and methylation help. Let's be real: these aminos make sense for liver support, but the doses are on the lighter side compared to heavy-hitting NAC formulas. They add to the overall setup, but they're not carrying the whole show.

The herbal heart is milk thistle seed extract at 150mg and dandelion root extract at 150mg. Milk thistle is the go-to because its silymarin helps protect the liver and fight oxidation, while dandelion is popular for bile flow, digestion, and fluid balance as well as fluid

Key Highlights

  • 100mcg Selenium as bisglycinate complex – this is the real deal in the formula. Selenium helps build glutathione peroxidase enzymes, which are straight-up part of your body's antioxidant team, making it way more than just a trendy mineral add-on.
  • 150mg Milk Thistle Seed Extract – milk thistle is the classic for liver support, and for good reason. Its silymarin packs hepatoprotective and antioxidant punches, making it one of the most known and backed herbs out there.
  • 150mg Dandelion Root Extract – dandelion brings the digestive-biliary vibe. It's a staple in liver formulas for helping with bile flow, digestion, and fluid balance, not just filler.
  • 150mg L-Cysteine HCl – cysteine is a sulfur amino that ties into glutathione production, your liver's big antioxidant system. Smart add for a liver supp, even if it's not as beefed up as a full NAC product.
  • 100mg Grape Seed Extract – these grape seed polyphenols give extra antioxidant backup that works with selenium and the herbs. It hits oxidative stress from different angles.
  • 100mg Burdock Powder plus 100mg Celery Powder – these are old-school herbs in cleanse and liver mixes. They don't steal the show, but they widen the herbal support for detox and fluid balance.
  • 50mg L-Methionine – methionine throws in more sulfur for methylation and glutathione paths. It's not a huge dose for standalone use, but it beefs up the formula next to cysteine.
  • 16mg Alpha-Lipoic Acid – ALA is a solid antioxidant that can refresh others and help with redox balance. Dose is light, but it adds another layer to the oxidative stress control.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters in long bulk or cut phases with lots of supps who want liver help beyond a multi. Selenium, milk thistle, dandelion, and grape seed give daily antioxidant and protective vibes that fit a serious stack without stims.
  • Adults hitting pre-workouts often, eating big calories, or running intense stacks who need easy capsules for inner recovery. It focuses on oxidative stress and classic liver herbs over energy stuff.
  • Bodybuilders in off-season or prep who dig old-school organ support with wide herbs. Milk thistle, dandelion, burdock, artichoke, and turmeric match that, and the open label lets you check every bit.
  • Gym folks into wellness who want stim-free daily support for liver, digestion, and antioxidants. Capsules make it simple, no timing needed, using familiar herbs with history in liver formulas.
  • High-protein eaters needing extra for metabolic load from hard training and heavy meals. Selenium backs antioxidant systems, herbs add digestive-biliary and liver help.
  • People building a recovery-first stack beyond just performance. If you're on protein, creatine, fish oil, and multi, this adds specific liver-detox and antioxidant angles many stacks miss.

How to Use

Take 2 capsules daily with 8-16 oz water. Best with a meal, since herb mixes go down better with food and it's easier to make it a habit like with breakfast or dinner. No need to split unless you want; one or two times a day is fine. Timing isn't tied to workouts – it's about building up support over time, not quick boosts. If herbs bug your gut or you've had issues, start with 1 cap for a few days and build up. Stacks well with creatine, protein, fish oil, electrolytes, and stim pre-workouts since it's stim-free. Don't double up on high-selenium stuff without tracking. Keep it cool and dry, lid tight. Use daily for value, not on-off cycling.

What to Expect

First 1-3 days, don't expect a buzz – this isn't stim or performance gear. The early win is how simple it is: 2 caps with a meal, no taste, no crash, no workout timing. Week one feels like quiet background help. By weeks 2-4, you get the cumulative perks from selenium antioxidants plus steady milk thistle, dandelion, grape seed, and herbs. If you're after caffeine kick or pump fullness, this ain't it. It's for ongoing system support, not instant vibes. Set expectations for steady backup, not quick thrills.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Anabolic Warfare Project Liver Support designed to do?

Project Liver Support is a daily capsule formula built to support liver health, antioxidant defense, and digestive-biliary function. It combines 100mcg selenium with milk thistle, dandelion root, cysteine, grape seed extract, and a wider botanical matrix rather than relying on one single detox ingredient.

How much selenium is in Project Liver Support, and why does that matter?

Each 2-capsule serving provides 100mcg selenium as a bisglycinate complex. That is important because selenium is incorporated into antioxidant enzymes like glutathione peroxidases, giving the formula a clinically grounded mechanism for oxidative-stress support.

Is this formula fully disclosed or hidden behind a proprietary blend?

It is fully disclosed. Every active ingredient and every dose is listed, which is a real advantage in the liver-support category where many products hide underdosed herbs behind vague detox blends.

How should I take Project Liver Support?

Take 2 capsules daily with water, ideally with a meal. Because this is a support formula and not a pre-workout, the exact timing is flexible; consistency matters much more than taking it at a specific hour.

Will I feel this working right away?

No dramatic acute sensation should be expected. This is a stim-free, maintenance-oriented formula, so the value is in consistent daily use of ingredients like selenium, milk thistle, dandelion, and grape seed rather than an immediate noticeable effect.

Is the milk thistle dose strong?

Milk thistle at 150mg is a legitimate inclusion, but this formula is better viewed as a broad-spectrum support product than a mega-dosed single-ingredient liver formula. Its strength comes from combining milk thistle with selenium, dandelion, cysteine, grape seed, and several other botanicals.

Can I stack this with pre-workout, creatine, and protein?

Yes. Project Liver Support is stim-free and does not overlap heavily with typical performance ingredients, so it stacks cleanly with creatine, protein, pump products, and stimulant pre-workouts.

Does this use NAC or TUDCA?

No. This formula uses L-cysteine HCl and L-methionine for sulfur amino support instead of NAC, and it does not include TUDCA. That means it is positioned as a broader herbal-and-antioxidant liver support formula rather than a heavy single-agent therapeutic-style formula.

Are any of the doses light compared with standalone clinical ingredients?

Yes, and that is important to understand. Selenium is well dosed at 100mcg, but ingredients like alpha-lipoic acid, methionine, and several smaller botanicals are present at supportive rather than standalone clinical doses.

Who should be cautious with this formula?

Anyone who is pregnant, nursing, under 18, taking blood thinners, managing thyroid medication, dealing with blood pressure issues, or sensitive to licorice or mushrooms should consult a qualified healthcare professional before use. This product contains multiple active botanicals, not inert filler ingredients.

Purchased to replace a 15 year old Epson. I still have three weeks to decide to return this so I will edit this review if I decide to do that. PROS: After a few test prints, I love the quality of color, the accuracy of reproduction to what I see on my monitor, and the number of choices for print size and quality. I found, as others complained, that with cheap gloss paper there was puddling of ink. When I switched to my best papers, especially my favorite highest quality matte finish, the results were astounding and I'd do matte for everything. As for ink usage, I made the choice to go with a cartridge printer instead of the newer high-volume inks because I wanted the archival quality. Test the output for your needs, because I found the "draft" setting produced better on gloss paper. CONS: Like so many electronics now, you only get instructions if you download and print them. Second, when the printed photo feeds out, it has been curled and as it feeds into the receiving drawer, wants to drag the wet ink against the body of the machine. You have to be there to watch and push it down with a finger. Cheaper gloss paper in 4x6 size curled up in a little wet roll 1/2" diameter and is not usable AT ALL. The miniature screen on which to select papers is ridiculous. I wish the computer interface let you make the choices on your computer, but it does not.

Defective printer and poor wifi performance
I cannot recommend that anyone buy this printer. At this price, I expected a consistently working and decent quality printer. For initial wireless setup with a Mac, we had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with Epson technical support. That got it working. It worked for a couple of weeks and then the printer would frequently lose its wifi connection even though our internet is high quality cable and very consistent. We'd have to turn this printer off and on repeatedly to re-establish the wifi connection. Then after 6 weeks it stopped working totally. After another 45 minute call with Epson, they said it had a hardware failure and we had to return it to Epson and would receive a refurbished unit. This is less than 2 months after buying a new high priced printer that they are suggesting we accept a refurbished unit. Finally Epson said they'd send a new one. We got the new one and did our customary call to tech support to set it up for wireless with a Mac. It turns out they forgot to send the factory ink cartridges in this replacement printer that are required to do an initial setup. We have the Epson cartridges that are spec'ed for this printer, but they have to be the ones that COME INSIDE the printer for the printer to begin its initial setup. So after another 45 minute call, Epson now says they have to send us new ink cartridges for the printer to even print a single piece of paper - even though we have Epson ink cartridges purchased just for this computer. So after weeks of no printer for our business, we now have to wait for another shipment from Epson. Then we will have the next 45 minute call to set it up.. This painful and costly experience has had way too many headaches - all caused by Epson defects and mistakes. We will not be buying Epson again.

A must have high quality Photo Printer for cheap!
If you’re searching for a high quality printer without breaking the bank , this is the printer for you. I had spent a good amount of time researching various printers and the picture quality they offered . I really spent my time looking this up . I found that the Picture quality on this printer is incredible . If you look at other models that can print 13x19 they cost way more. Now the ink capacity I’m not entirely sure about but I do know the ink can be expensive but it’s a trade off for getting an affordable printer without breaking super high quality pictures . Setup was very straight forward and it makes it essentially easy for anyone to connect to their network to print wired or wireless. You have the ability to print from your phone which is really amazing as well . All around this printer is great and if you’re hesitant you should just pull the trigger because you get quality with this model and affordability .

Ink is a problem
Printer is great. It prints very nicely.. had no problem setting up.. it all works fine. What I didn't like is the ink is kind of expensive and doesn't seem to last long. Once one color is out .. you can't use at all. Says "print in black" but it only allows that a few pages then it's done even tho there is black ink left. Epson customer service kind of sucks also.

Correction: Excellent value, quality and ease of use for color & grey scale; Wi-Fi firmware updates
Straightforward to install on my home WiFi network. The controls and screen are easy to navigate. Firmware updates can be done via WiFi—so much better than downloading an installer to a computer. Surprised that the maximum borderless print size is A3+. I don’t care, because I don’t mind a thin border on 13x19” paper, and intend to print 12x18” or smaller anyway for framing. Good results on real-world test prints with default color and tonal settings in Apple Photos. Astonishingly, perfect color and tonal range in my full-spectrum, full-dynamic range test print of a storefront on 13x19” Matte paper. A garden scene had true hues—borderless on 4x6” glossy paper—but was a bit dark. You wouldn’t notice if you only saw the print. Full tonal range B&W image on glossy paper lost some highlight detail and mid-tone pop compared to what I got from a commercial print shop using Luster paper, but I’m not seeing a color cast reported by others, which is very good news. I bought Epson again after a long hiatus because 1) I have a big stock of paper from pre-covid days, 2) ink cost is not a problem for my limited photo printing needs, and 3) the recent price drop offered a very low up-front cost. This one is smaller and very much quieter than its predecessor. It offers Air Print connectivity, but I prefer WiFi, even from mobile devices. Pretty happy so far. Already useful and B&W may improve with experimentation.
