Evo X Clutch Master Cylinder Upgrade

If you've experienced a clutch master cylinder failure or are simply being proactive, MAP is here to help. We have seen the stock plastic clutch master cylinder fail with upgraded clutches and/or spirited driving; Here is a solution that anyone should be able to install with basic hand tools from the comfort of your own garage.

With this kit there is no need to remove the pedal assembly and cut the ball joint as we include a billet ball joint attachment. Additionally, pedal height is easily adjustable by breaking loose the jam nut, removing the clip, and threading the balljoint to your desired pedal height. A braided stainless steel line replaces the original line as well.

This is a must have upgrade for Evo X owners if you are installing an upgraded clutch, don't get left stranded! We recommend all Evo X owners who upgrade their clutches run this CMC, despite whether or not you've had your OEM unit replaced with the factory recall.

Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

I hung them up and I put a couple books on a few different ones as well as some trinkets not weighing even 5 pounds (so not even close to the weight). Within five minutes. One of the shelves snapped. They look okay, are light and are super easy to use, but the quality is horrible. I would say the best part about this is the hardware and mini levels it comes with. Definitely not worth it.
