For those who know, here is another one of our custom MN builds to illustrate the potential of these value models!

The MN82 series is a fantastic and affordable entry into customisable RC cars and rock crawling, as they provide a decent setup out of the box, with high quality construction, detailed interior, functional chassis and high ground clearance, these were made to crawl!

For this model, we had one thing in mind... MONSTER TRUCK!

We wanted to see how much we could lift the suspension without compromising the look and functionality of this model.

As usual, we upgraded the tie rod linkages, axles and driveshaft to metal components, but with this model, we fitted portal axles, for extra organic lift on the power system.

The body has been fitted with a double set of chassis lifts, with some modification, to increase the height further for larger wheels.

Wheels! Oh yes! We pushed these to the limit on this one. We fitted 105mm diameter monster truck tyres, fitted to a 12mm hex hub with allen fitment. We increased the wheel base with 30mm brass extensions, bringing the total wheel base to 23cm, putting the original 14.5cm of stock models to shame!

Suspension has been upgraded to metal sets and we have increase the pitch of these components to accommodate the more lateral wheel positions.

Steering has been upgraded to a 21g servo to handle the extra steering forces and the front wheel arches have been trimmed slightly on the inner corner to give extra spaces for the wheels at the most extreme angles.

Also, that is a Batman figure in the driving seat!

Cosmetic components have been fitted, aside from stickers. These will be provided along with an additional set of stickers that we deem more appropriate for decorating such a beast!

When it comes to our custom builds, we don't create these with profit in mind and parts alone cost more than the listed price. We build these to test the limits of these models and the parts we offer, so we can help customers their projects, mechanical, electrical, we know our products!

In the Box

We inspect and test each model we receive from factory, ensuring the models are undamaged, the batteries, motors and control systems function as intended.

The original box for these units is very soft and fails to properly shield the truck during shipping (too much movement). For this reason, we repackage our trucks into new boxes, repacking all accessories and build components for greater protection. If you still want a gift box, please ask with your order (subject to availability) and we will do our best with packing, but this could leave the item susceptible to damage in transit.

We recommend you start from the basic model and upgrade components gradually to suit your style, so you build a completely unique truck. Simple upgrades to the battery and suspension can make a significant difference during use, as can frame components that increase the bottom weight of the vehicle.
