We paid our tech for the 13 hours of skilled labor required to make this SH 1 as good as it can possibly be. In addition to any necessary repairs, we took the following measures in the hope that this instrument will outlast all others: Replaced all slide pots (the full set cost us $370 shipped).

This unit was originally sold for use in Japan. We modified it for use here in the US (117v). 

We paid our tech for the 13 hours of skilled labor required to make this SH-1 as good as it can possibly be. In addition to any necessary repairs, we took the following measures in the hope that this instrument will outlast all others:
 
Replaced all slide pots (the full set cost us $370 shipped).
Replaced power cable. 
Replaced all electrolytic capacitors.
Replaced all tantalum capacitors.
Replaced molex connector terminals.
(these additional parts probably cost us another $50 or so).

And then there's the necessary servicing:
Cleaned and lubed all rotary pots and switches.
Cleaned key contacts and bus bar. 
Calibrated CV, VCO, VCF, VCA.

This investment of time, love and money will likely price this unit well above all others. This one's for the discerning customer who appreciates our high standards and attention to detail and wants the best example of this synth that money can buy.
