Before he became immortal as lovable Grandpa Munster on the classic TV sitcom The Munsters, veteran character actor Al Lewis built an impressive career playing colorful, tough, and often unforgettable characters on some of television’s finest dramatic series.

Known for his sharp comic timing, gravelly voice, and larger-than-life personality, Lewis first teamed with Fred Gwynne on Car 54, Where Are You? before the duo reunited as Herman and Grandpa Munster. Beloved by generations of fans, Al Lewis passed away on February 3, 2006, in New York City at the age of 82.

This special collection spotlights three rare dramatic guest appearances showcasing Lewis in roles far removed from Mockingbird Lane or the streets of the Bronx:

Decoy: "Queen of Diamonds" (12/30/57) - Undercover policewoman Casey Jones (Beverly Garland) must crack a murder suspect’s airtight alibi by finding a witness willing to talk. As tensions rise, Casey cleverly pits the suspects against one another while struggling to maintain her dangerous cover.

Brenner: "Thin Ice" (8/22/59) - Police investigator Ernie Brenner goes undercover after parents discover neighborhood children are spending their lunch money at a suspicious candy shop. What begins as a simple complaint soon uncovers a small-time gambling racket operating behind the scenes.

Route 66: "The Thin White Line" (12/8/61) - While traveling the highways of America, Tod Stiles (Martin Milner) becomes the victim of a terrifying prank when his drink is secretly laced with a hallucinogenic drug, placing both himself and others in grave danger.

A fascinating look at the dramatic side of one of television’s most beloved personalities, this collection is a must-have for fans of classic television and the unforgettable Al Lewis.

these are very nice platter/plates
these are not quite as thick as I was hoping for, but they’re really nice. I guess I’m just used to using paper plate holders underneath them but if you use two together, they’ll hold just about anything that you can put on them.

Many uses. Economical and functional.
Style: 100-Pk, Size: 6-Inch
Little Paper Plates for Any Occasion! Two feral kitties have adopted me and I feed them twice a day. I needed an easy, economical choice that provides a clean dish for each one. These Hygloss Products Paper Plates are ideal. They’re quite sturdy, uncoated, and exactly what I was looking for—simple and functional. In addition, they’re great for craft projects because they’re uncoated, which means paint, glue, and markers stick to them without any trouble. On the practical side, they are excellent for serving snacks and sandwiches, although they’re not thick or large enough for full-course meals. It’s the best price I have found for paper plates and they arrived quickly. Highly recommend for feeding stray cats, as well as crafting and casual dining!

The Unsung Heroes of Casual Dining
Style: 100-Pk, Size: 6-Inch
Ah, paper plates, the unsung heroes of casual dining! Whether it's a mountain of greasy burgers or a messy pile of coleslaw, these humble discs of pressed paper pulp stand firm—well, maybe more like a wobbly dance, teetering on the brink of collapse but never quite giving up. They bend, they buckle, but they rarely break. And let's not forget their efficiency: soaking up liquids and grease might seem like a flaw, but who needs napkins when your plate does double duty? Wallet-friendly and hassle-free, paper plates are the champions of cheap dining. For the cost of a latte, you can arm yourself with a stack of plates ready for any impromptu feast. Cleanup is a breeze—just toss the evidence away. In short, paper plates might not be the fanciest dining ware, but they are the unsung champions of convenience. Here's to you, paper plates! May your legacy of casual dining excellence continue for generations to come.
